The specialists

Dr. Rita Cardoso

Rita Cardoso is a speech and language therapist who dedicates her clinical and scientific activities to speech and swallowing problems in Parkinson´s disease and other movement disorders. She has a master degree in Neuroscience, is a researcher at Instituto de Medicina Molecular (IMM) and an invited lecturer at the undergraduate course and master’s degree in speech therapy at Escola Superior de Saúde de Alcoitão (ESSA). Currently she is the responsible for speech therapy department at Campus Neurológico (Torres Vedras, Lisbon, Portugal) that provides support to people with neurodegenerative diseases at the inpatient and outpatient units from Portugal and abroad.

Pedro Barosa

Pedro Barosa is a professional musician, specialised mainly in jazz and bossa nova, with almost 30 years' experience performing at casinos, halls, hotels and social events. In 2000 he set up a studio and has dedicated himself to audio production ever since. His work includes jingles, voice-overs, playbacks and audio for institutional videos.
